“Most women face public harasmment which prevents them from fully participating in the socio-economic realm. In addition, limited mobility & lack of safe transportation facilities are a contributing factor towards low female labour force participation. In 2017, only 5% of driving licenses in Punjab were issued to women, while only 1% of women owned vehicles.”
